Do you feel the English you hear from your coursebook is not what you are confronted with in real life? Or sometimes you feel that others speak too fast? This course will use recordings of English as it is really spoken – by native as well as non-native speakers. You will get used to different accents and be able to adapt faster to speakers from around the world. We will read The Great Gatsby, as well as a selection of short stories. You will spend 60 minutes in an online class on Zoom each week, and in between, you will participate in online discussions and tasks with your teacher.
