Starting B1+ with a coursebook, you will move forward through the level improving all four skills step by step. It is possible to join the course in the higher units. For intermediate students who would like to learn more about English-speaking cultures. We will read a handful of English, Irish, American and Commonwealth poems and stories -- some simplified, some not -- and use them as a basis for language games, vocabulary-building exercises and discussions. The two courses can be booked independently of each other.

In this advanced English course for strong confident speakers, we will delve into discussions around contemporary topics. These will include world news, social trends, politics, art and literature, science, the environment and more (we can decide during the course). Prior to each lesson you will receive an article or short video for some background information before we discuss it in the class.
